Ordering Policies


  • Minimum order is 1 dozen (12) cookies, with up to 3 designs per dozen.

  • Prices per dozen will vary as cookies are priced individually based on size and design complexity.

  • Custom cookies take time, so please allow a minimum of 1 week, but depending on availability on our calendar, quantity ordered, and supplies required, 2-4 weeks is highly recommended.



Cookies come carefully packaged in a box to be later arranged on a platter at your event. We also offer cookies in individually heat sealed bags for $3 per dozen or bagged and tied with coordinating curling ribbon for $9 per dozen. Pre-designed header tags are also available for $12 per dozen or can be customized for an additional $5 fee.



The Sugar Shoppe produces bakery items that uses flour, butter, sugar, eggs, milk, peanuts and/or tree nuts. Even though we are a specialty bakery that takes custom orders, we do not currently offer items that are gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, egg free or vegan. We do however offer a gluten friendly vanilla sugar cookie but since our kitchen is not gluten free, we can not advertise it as is 100% gluten free.


For advertised presales, payment is due at time of ordering and is non-refundable once the presale has closed.

For custom orders, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the date requested and the remaining balance is due at pick up.

For weddings, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the date requested and remaining balance is due one week before the event date.

We accept any credit/debit card through an emailed invoice, Zelle, or cash for your convenience.

Retainers are transferable only if notified 3 weeks prior to the originally agreed upon date, subject to availability.

Orders are not considered booked until the retainer is received.




In order to avoid any rush fees, please keep in mind that ALL custom orders require at least one weeks’ notice. If your order inquiry is time sensitive, please call or text us at 971-322-9455.  A rush fee of 20% will be applied if you need your order within 4 days or fewer (including the day of ordering).


Delivery is available for an additional fee. The delivery fee is calculated based on round trip distance and is subject to change should the delivery location change. PLEASE NOTE: Someone must be available to accept the delivery. Food will not be left unattended. We allow 15 minutes of wait time for recipient to accept delivery. In the case of non-availability of recipient at the time of delivery there will be no refund. We will leave a door notice to let the recipient know that a delivery was attempted. Repeat delivery will incur additional charges if our schedule allows or recipient can pick up the order at our standard pick up location, which is near the Columbia Bank in the Canby Fred Meyer parking lot.


Once your treats are exchanged to you, The Sugar Shoppe is no longer liable for any damage.  This includes exchanges via third party.
